About Us

DigiFilming Academy is an online filmmaking education platform founded and guided by filmmaker, director, author and mentor Samar K. Mukherjee, with 25+ years of hands-on experience across films, television, advertising, web series and digital content. The Academy offers practical online programmes in Screenwriting, Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Production, Film Business, Mobile Filmmaking, AI Filmmaking and AI Screenwriting, designed to help students learn at their own pace and apply their skills to real-world filmmaking. Our vision goes beyond certificates—we aim to help learners develop practical skills, build portfolios and move towards creative careers, with career and job-assistance support where appropriate and opportunities for selected students to collaborate on DigiFilming projects and OTT content. Through future DigiFilming Practical Centres, we also aim to extend hands-on filmmaking training to more cities.
